Candidate must possess a Florida Bar License and have a minimum of 3-5 years of First Legal experience. Candidate will be responsible for working uncontested foreclosure cases, including reviewing complaints, preparing motions for default, motions for summary judgment, discovery, final judgment hearings, and trials. Responsibilities: • Understand all legal aspects of the clients’ desired outcome and circumstances to provide them with sound legal advice • Facilitate transfer of title between borrowers, real estate agents, and title company, and negotiate terms and conditions for real estate transactions • Oversee support staff such as paralegals and clerks • Serve in the best interest of your clients during real estate closings, in real estate disputes, and real estate litigation • Work with city boards and agencies to obtain permits and avoid zoning legal issues Qualifications: • A Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school is required • Exceptional negotiation, research, networking, and communication skills are desired • Maintain a current law license in the state and be a member of the local bar association • Must be computer proficient • 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial real estate attorney, as a transactional attorney, or as corporate counsel for a real estate development firm Compensation: $75,000 - $180,000
