Real Estate Associate Attorney
Are you an experienced real estate attorney with a proven track record and extensive real estate transaction and litigation experience? Our busy firm is growing, and we need a skilled professional to provide counsel, attend closings and litigations, draft and review legal documents, and represent clients effectively. If you have 3 years of real estate transactions, a current license, and excellent negotiation and communication skills, apply today. Responsibilities: • Settle terms and conditions for real estate transactions, and facilitate the transfer of title between real estate agents, borrowers, and title company • Serve in the best interest of your clients during real estate closings, in real estate disputes, and real estate litigation • Interface with city boards and agencies to avoid zoning legal issues and obtain permits • Draft and review contracts, probate and trust documents, leases, financing statements, purchase and property management agreements, as well as title abstracts, summaries, and commitments, as required • Coordinate detailed due diligence, and inspect title examination, closing binder, and legal documents for legal risk, completion, and accuracy Qualifications: • Working knowledge of title insurance, land use, business law, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation • Proficient with computers • J.D. (Juris Doctorate) degree required from an accredited law school is required • Outstanding research, negotiation, networking, and communication skills are necessary • Hold a current law license in the state and be a member of your local bar association Compensation: $50,000 - $250,000 at plan
