Responsibilities: • Complete thorough due diligence and inspect legal documents, title examination, and closing binder for legal risk, completion, and accuracy • Appear on behalf of your clients at real estate closings, in real estate disputes, and real estate litigation • Consider all legal aspects of clients’ circumstances and desired outcome to provide sound legal advice to them • Draft and review contracts, probate and trust documents, leases, financing statements, purchase and property management agreements, as well as title abstracts, summaries, and commitments, as required • Interface with city boards and agencies to avoid zoning legal issues and obtain permits Qualifications: • Up to date knowledge of property management, business law, title insurance, land use, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation • J.D. (Juris Doctorate) degree required from an accredited law school is required • Superb negotiation, networking, research, and communication skills are needed • Must be computer proficient • 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial real estate attorney, as a transactional attorney, or as corporate counsel for a real estate development firm Compensation: $50,000 - $250,000 at plan
