    We’re looking for a sharp, motivated Real Estate Financial Analyst to join our top-producing retail investment sales team in Marcus & Millichap's Los Angeles Office. In this role, you’ll underwrite commercial real estate assets—primarily retail and net lease—with occasional exposure to other property types. Your work will directly support brokers in pricing strategy, marketing, and the execution of high-level transactions nationwide. Responsibilities: • Evaluate retail real estate deals across the U.S., with minimal oversight. • Understand core retail investment concepts, including financial metrics like cap rates, IRR, CAGR, pro formas, and debt structures. • Build comprehensive Argus and Excel models to support pricing recommendations, offering memorandums, and valuation packages. • Research ownership history, recent sales, and lease comps, surrounding development activity, and market positioning for each asset. • Assist brokers during due diligence by gathering and reviewing critical documents like leases, financial statements, reconciliations, and third-party reports. • Keep up with shifts in the retail real estate landscape, including changing tenant trends, market conditions, and underwriting standards. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant commercial real estate experience • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, rent rolls, cash flows, and sensitivity analysis • Proficiency in Argus Enterprise and familiarity with real estate platforms such as CoStar and Crexi • Ability to interpret complex legal and lease documents, CAM structures, and financial statements • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal • Proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset and a high degree of discretion when handling sensitive information Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 yearly
