    We are an independent (DFPI) Escrow Company that is looking for an exceptional Bulk Sale (Business Escrow) Escrow Officer or Bulk Sale (Business Escrow) Escrow Officer and Assistant Team to join our growing team. Must be organized and able to manage a business desk. • 2-3 years of verifiable bulk sale (business escrow) escrow experience required • Current Book of Business is required The Bulk Sale (Business Escrow) Escrow Officer is responsible for all things involved in their files. It is the Officer’s responsibility to make sure that the files in their unit are being handled properly. This involves auditing work completed by processors and assistants. • Base salary range is noted below, plus commission Responsibilities: • Prepare and send out closing packages to buyers, sellers, brokers, attorneys, and lenders • Interact and coordinate with industry contacts such as realtors, loan officers, underwriters, brokers, buyers, and sellers • Work in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations when dealing with escrow transactions and escrow accounts • Complete administrative tasks such as reporting and ensure all funds are disbursed accurately • Monitor progress in compliance with all terms and conditions of purchase contracts • All capabilities of a basic Processor, Assistant, and Jr. Escrow Officer • Run a Bulk Sale (Business Escrow), Traditional Sale, and Refinance from opening to closing • Answer questions and give directions to the Processors and Assistants • Have full knowledge of the Bulk Sale, Traditional Sale, and Refinance Escrow process and be able to resolve situations, issues, and problems that may arise • Delegate workload to Assistants and Processors • Review work completed and give necessary assistance to Assistants and Processors • Review workload daily to ensure work is being completed on time or in a timely manner and that no team member is overwhelmed • Handle all customers and/or phone calls that exceed the capabilities of the Assistants and Processors • Ensure that your entire unit is delivering excellent customer service • Provide training to the Assistants and Processors to ensure their opportunity for advancement • Be aware of, and resolve, all situations that arise within the unit • Aide in the workload when Assistants and Processors are overwhelmed • Closes escrow account by balancing and disbursing funds. • Complies with regulatory requirements and company policy by adhering, to and enforcing adherence, to requirements. • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations. • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Understanding of mortgage loans, title commitments, title insurance, and real estate contracts • Firm understanding of real estate law, title and insurance, company policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required • 2-3 + years of verifiable experience as a Bulk Sale (Business Escrow) Escrow Officer • Must be intimately familiar with UCC Code Section 6106 • Must be intimately familiar with B & P Code Section 24074 and 24049 • Intimately familiar with Transfers of ABC Licenses • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment with great people who love what they do • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Team player • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry field • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications • Good client relations and organizational skills • Ability to write reports and correspondence • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume Compensation: $72,000 - $78,000 yearly
