    THIS POSITION FOLLOWS A HYBRID SCHEDULE BASED IN PERSON IN TORRANCE, CA, WITH A MINIMUM OF ONE TO TWO IN-OFICE DAYS PER WEEK. FRIDAYS ARE REQUIRED IN THE OFFICE. If you’re an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney with Real Estate Litigation experience and a strong track record of favorable client outcomes who thrives when surrounded by top-notch legal professionals, look no further! Our dynamic company is growing, and we’re seeking someone with knowledge of real estate, corporate, and business law. Our ideal applicant will have at least 3 years of experience in real estate litigation, outstanding written and oral communication skills, and excellent references. The billable hour requirement is based on salary. The ideal candidates must have the ability and desire to provide an excellent work product that reflects strong research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs. Associates are given meaningful, hands-on legal work. Associates independently manage litigation caseloads, working on cases from beginning to end, including handling court appearances, depositions, and communicating with clients. Admission to practice in California is required. We prefer candidates with immediately transferable skills, excellent client relationship and interpersonal skills, previous work history, and a strong understanding of land use, title insurance, and business law. Responsibilities: • Understand all legal aspects of the clients’ desired outcome and circumstances to provide them with sound legal advice • Appear on behalf of your clients at real estate closings, in real estate disputes, and real estate litigation • Manage paralegals, clerks, and other assistants • Lead real estate litigation matters from inception through trial • Handle commercial and residential property disputes • Navigate landlord-tenant conflicts and property rights issues, title disputes, and real estate fraud cases • Guide clients through zoning and land use litigation • Managing and responding to written discovery • Motion practice and conducting legal research • Investigating key facts and gathering critical case information • File, depose, mediate, and litigate pursuant to our core values and culture with minimal oversight • Represent clients in real estate disputes/litigation and business disputes • Take into account all legal aspects of the clients’ intended outcome and personal circumstances to provide sound legal advice to them Qualifications: • Exceptional negotiation, research, networking, and communication skills are desired • Minimum 3 years of experience as a civil litigation attorney handling depositions, mediations, and court and jury trials in accordance with CA civil procedure required. • Up-to-date knowledge of property management, business law, title insurance, land use, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation preferred. • Able to use Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint with proficiency. • Prior real estate litigation experience required. • Maintaining an active CA Bar License in good standing is required. • Juris Doctor required. • A strong passion for litigation, coupled with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, will be the key to excelling in this role Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 yearly
