Position Overview:
A well-established, mid-sized law firm in the Houston Galleria area is expanding its real estate practice and is seeking a motivated HOA / Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys hands-on litigation, values a collaborative environment, and is looking to grow with a firm that is actively scaling its practice.
The ideal candidate will bring experience handling a range of litigation matters and will be comfortable managing a steady caseload while maintaining high standards of client service and legal execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent homeowners’ associations, property management companies, and real estate clients in a variety of litigation matters
- Handle covenant enforcement, collections, foreclosure actions, and general HOA disputes
- Manage landlord–tenant matters, including evictions and related litigation as needed
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence with precision and efficiency
- Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances across the Greater Houston area
- Provide strategic legal guidance and practical solutions to clients on real estate and HOA-related issues
- Work closely with attorneys and staff in a team-oriented, supportive environment
- Effectively manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, high-volume practice
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
- 1+ years of experience in litigation, HOA law, landlord–tenant law, or other litigation practice areas
- Strong courtroom presence and experience handling hearings independently
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Professional, responsive, and client-focused approach
