  • Responsibilities

    Our client, a property management company, is seeking a detail-oriented Office Clerk with experience in accounts receivable and tenant communications.

    The ideal candidate will support day-to-day administrative functions with a focus on accurate financial recordkeeping, maintaining positive tenant relations, and ensuring timely rent processing and documentation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process and record accounts receivable transactions, including rent payments, accurately and on schedule.

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants, addressing questions, concerns, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.

    • Maintain organized and up-to-date tenant records, including lease agreements, payment histories, and correspondence.

    • Prepare and distribute rent reminders, late notices, and other billing-related communications.

    • Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing documents to support property management operations.

    • Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure payment discrepancies are quickly resolved.

    • Track and report on outstanding balances and follow up with tenants as needed.

    • Support other office functions, including answering phones, handling mail, and maintaining a tidy front office environment.

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in an office administration or clerical support role, ideally in a property management setting.

    • Strong knowledge of basic accounting and accounts receivable processes, with excellent attention to numerical detail.

    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants and staff.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook), and comfortable using property management software.

    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve tenant issues calmly and effectively.

    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.

    Salary: $65K
