The successful applicant will have 5 years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper in the construction industry, a problem-solving attitude, and great communication skills. Responsibilities: • Perform accurate and timely data entry of all financial transactions into accounting systems • Maintain and update financial records, including contracts, budgets, tax reports, and financial statements • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, checks, and payroll • Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data • Prepare detailed financial reports and assist in forecasting budgets, costs, and project timelines Qualifications: • 5 years of experience in accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience in the construction industry • A high school diploma is required - an associate’s degree in accounting, or business, or related field is preferred • Exceptional organization, analytical, problem solving, and communications skills are important • Well-versed with Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting software, such as QuickBooks • Knowledge of construction accounting concepts, tax strategies, and best practices • 1 to 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience • High level of professionalism • Willing and able to embrace new technology, master it, and teach it to others • Strong computer/tech skills • Exceptional customer service skills • Self-starter who is willing to take charge with little supervision • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Detailed oriented • Positive, can-do attitude Compensation: $21 - $25 hourly
