The Real Estate Paralegal will play a key role in supporting attorneys with all aspects of real estate transactions. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Compensation Benefits • $17 – $20 per hour, commensurate with experience • Full-time position with weekends off • Paid holidays • Supportive and collaborative team environment Responsibilities: • Transaction Management: • Assist attorneys in managing real estate transactions from contract to closing, including drafting and reviewing documents, coordinating with clients and third parties, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. • Title and Survey Review: • Review title searches and surveys to identify potential issues and ensure clear title for transactions. • Document Preparation: • Prepare and organize closing documents, including deeds, settlement statements, and closing disclosures. • Client Communication: • Communicate with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in real estate transactions to gather necessary information and provide updates. • File Management: • Maintain and organize electronic and physical files related to real estate transactions, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible. Qualifications: • Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in real estate law. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
