The Law Offices of Susan Kohn, LLC is looking for a Real Estate Paralegal who can take real ownership of the closing process, support legal execution, and keep deals moving forward with precision and professionalism. Compensation • $45,000-$55,000, depending on experience • Opportunities for bonuses • Full in-office role Responsibilities: • Administer real estate matters from contract execution through closing and post-closing • Review title commitments and facilitate curative for liens, judgments, and other encumbrances • Serve as liaison among counsel, clients, agents, lenders, and settlement providers • Monitor contractual timelines and ensure compliance with all deadlines and contingencies • Procure and manage due diligence materials, including title, surveys, payoffs, and association documents • Conduct pre-closing file audits to confirm accuracy, completeness, and compliance • Maintain organized, compliant legal files in accordance with firm and regulatory standards • Coordinate closing logistics and oversee post-closing deliverables, including recordings Qualifications: • Experience as a Paralegal or in a comparable legal or transactional role • Solid understanding of real estate transactions, contracts, and closing processes • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment • Clear, professional, and proactive communication style • Proficiency with legal software, document management systems, and transaction platforms • Self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs, prioritize effectively, and take initiative • High level of ownership with a track record of following tasks through to completion Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 yearly
