Responsibilities: • Work with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits in order to close the deal • Show prospective tenants properties and highlight the provided amenities to help ensure rental contract • Validate all personal references and rental application information • Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promotional materials to help secure quick rentals of all properties • Become acquainted with client expectations of housing and finances and highlight properties that meet those expectations • Conduct property showings for potential tenants and provide detailed information about available rental units • Negotiate lease terms and contracts with prospective tenants in alignment with company policies and legal requirements • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting property inspections and handling security deposit refunds • Utilize marketing strategies to attract new tenants and maintain high occupancy rates for rental properties • Stay updated on local rental market trends and competitor activities to recommend competitive rental prices and identify growth opportunities Qualifications: • Competent in Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new programs and systems • Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written • Past sales experience is preferred • Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations • A proven record of sales experience and success • Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Publisher • Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • To qualify, you must agree to a commission-only compensation package • Obtain An Active NY Real Estate License • Demonstrated leasing experience • Authorization to work in the US • Proficiency in marketing and lead generation Compensation: $125,000+ yearly commission at plan earnings
