    Today we are hiring a Real Estate Securities Associate (Junior to Mid-Level) for our client in New York, NY. Practice Area: Capital Markets – Real Estate Finance & Securitization.

    This is a legal position and a Juris Doctorate is needed.

    A globally recognized, top-tier law firm is seeking highly motivated and talented junior to mid-level associates to join its elite Real Estate Capital Markets practice in New York. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside industry leaders on some of the most sophisticated and high-profile commercial real estate finance and securitization transactions in the market today.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Represent leading financial institutions, investment banks, and private equity sponsors in complex commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and collateralize loan obligation (CLO) transactions.

    • Advise on the origination, structuring, syndication, and securitization of commercial mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, and related real estate assets.

    • Draft and negotiate a broad range of transactional documents including loan agreements, intercreditor and participation agreements, and securitization offering materials.

    • Work closely with clients and other counsel to manage deal timelines and deliver results under demanding deadlines.

    • Contribute to the development of practice innovations, knowledge sharing, and client relationship building.

     

    Qualifications:

    • J.D. from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials.

    • Admission to the New York Bar, or eligibility to waive in.

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience at a large law firm or equivalent legal environment.

    • Substantive experience in real estate finance and/or capital markets, including the securitization and/or syndication of commercial mortgage and mezzanine loans.

    • Exceptional drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

    • Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial mindset, and a collaborative team spirit.
