About the Role:

Wisconsin Lakefront Property Management LLC is looking for a detail-oriented Property Management Accountant to join our team in Sheboygan, WI. Responsibilities:

Setup and maintain each business balance sheet and perform bank reconciliation on a timely and monthly basis

Audit day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

Own all aspects of accounting for our new construction projects including data entry, bill payment, bank reconciliation and balance sheets

Prepare monthly financial statements, budget variance reports, and property-level financial reporting

Assist with annual budget preparation and forecasting for managed properties

Support year-end close processes and assist with tax preparation documentation

Ensure compliance with applicable generally accepted accounting principals, accounting standards and property management regulations

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in property management or real estate

Proficiency in property management or accounting software (prefer Rent Manager experience, but Quickbooks is helpful)

Strong understanding of balance sheet structure, proper accounting for real estate assets, general ledgers, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Must love numbers and math

Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines simultaneously

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team
