    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    Reporting to the Human Resources Coordinator, the HR Assistant will be assisting with the administrative workload, which can include supporting the recruitment process, acting as liaison between employees and the HR department, and maintaining employee records. The HR Assistant plays a key role in our day-to-day operations to ensure that the company’s human resources needs, and objectives are being met in order to maintain a positive relationship with all employees.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
    • Maintain and ensure that employee records are updated as necessary and are accurate
    • Support the recruitment process
    • Collaborate with other HR personnel across different functions to ensure that company objectives are met
    • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas
    • Perform orientations and update records of new staff
    • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
    • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices
    • Working in store operations is a requirement for this position

    EXPECTATIONS OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

    · Educational background in Human Resources Management or related

    · No previous HR work experience is required
