The Property Manager position helps investment property owners and homeowners in preserving and increasing the value of their real estate investments. They manage the day-to-day financial operations of the property, including finding and placing qualified tenants, and they ensure the property is in good working order.
The Property Manager will lead the geographic team and will ensure a positive and productive work environment by adhering to established company policies and processes and providing leadership
Strategic Work
Weekly team activity and prioritization planning
Investor client relationships and revenue management of property portfolios
Leading team
Creating personal development plans, executing performance reviews and disciplinary action
Working knowledge of Fair Housing, Tenant Landlord law, Real Estate Investment strategies, rental trends and market conditions
Continuing education for the field
Attend Industry and other Networking meeting
Tactical Work
Communication with owners
Application approvals
Ensure lease renewals are performed in a timely manner
Ensure property reviews are done on time and done effectively
Approve advertising for rent descriptions and rent strategies
Development of team members
Conduct periodic training
STANDARDS
Position Specific:
A high school diploma or equivalent required; an Undergraduate Degree preferred.
Strong verbal and written communications skills (in English), allowing for clear communication in a variety of settings (phone, in-person and email), and with people of various backgrounds and levels, both internally and externally.
Must be able to use email, cell phones and tablets
Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
Must be able to work Monday through Friday
Strong time management skills
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Strong listening skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, follow up and follow through
Be able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute.
Experience is a plus, but not required
