    Assistant Property Manager

    We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven Assistant Property Manager for our property management company. This candidate is responsible for supporting business operations through administrative tasks, as well as providing courteous and professional direct interaction with property owners and tenants. This position requires candidate to be friendly and outgoing while maintaining the utmost professionalism.

    Responsibilities

    Assist property managers and team in any other duties and/or projects required

    Managing portfolio correspondence

    Provide administrative support for the office

    Reception – cheerfully and professionally interact with visitors, whether in person, via telephone, and/or email correspondence.

    Assist with tenant inquiries by phone, email and office visit.

    Assist with tenant applications and lease agreements.

    Entering management agreements/creating portfolios and properties.

    Apply rental payments to tenant records and scan checks to our bank for deposit.

    Execute appropriate action against tenants in arrears.

    General Data entry, file maintenance, mailings, and phone contacts

    Conducting pre-vacating inspections, preparing outgoing property condition reports.

    Authorizing payment of client invoices

    Use of various property management software applications

    Qualifications

    Minimum 2 years’ related experience

    Local area knowledge

    Maintain a professional demeanor.

    Highly organized with strong time management skills

    Naturally driven to provide excellent customer service

    Proficient in Microsoft Office, and ability to learn other software systems

    Detail oriented, Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management

    Exceptional interpersonal skills

    Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills

    Must be dependable, maintain high level of attendance and able to work in a fast-paced environment

    Prior property management experience required
