JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTING ANALYST

JOB LOCATION: REMOTE

DURATION: 6 MONTHS CONTRACT ON REAL SOFT’S W2 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

DUTIES:

The Accounting Analyst will support the Accounting & Finance team on accounting and reporting responsibilities, such as:

• Review invoiced activity and determine required accruals related to intercompany cross-charges with stakeholders

• Prepare intercompany billing and provide required reporting and support documentation to affiliate

• Prepare and post journal entries for assigned activity (e.g. accrual, prepaid, amortization/depreciation, etc.)

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and/or ensure the accuracy of assigned accounts

• Assist with audits, monthly reporting, and variance analysis as required

• Assist with invoice and PO issues and queries

• Support Sr. Director, Accounting with projects and/or other closing activities as needed

• Support Sr. Director, reporting with projects and/or other reporting activities as needed

SKILLS:

• Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and organization

• Strong written and communications skills

• Demonstrated ability to consistently work within tight timeframes and fixed deadlines

• Knowledge of an accounting ERP such as Oracle Fusion is preferred

• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree
