    SUMMARY

    The IT Professional position at Real Time Resolutions presents a great opportunity to work with a wide-spectrum of IT technologies and processes. We run a modern, fully virtualized private cloud environment layered with strong information security controls. This position works alongside a strong team of experts that maintain our technology stack in various administration and maintenance capacities. It provides broad experience in many IT technologies and requires strong candidates with flexible and adaptable qualities.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Performed duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Update and contribute to system administration KB articles
    • Documentation of IT infrastructure, including diagram drawing
    • Review and troubleshoot alerts from the monitoring applications and reports.
    • Resolve or escalate tier-2 related tickets coming into the helpdesk queue
    • Review daily environment reports and resolve any issues
    • Collaborate with senior administrators in researching and setting up test environments/servers
    • Collaborate with all IT levels to maintain a healthy server and desktop environment
    • Collaborate with vendor technical support during troubleshooting
    • Maintain and monitor production servers and identify any current or potential problems
    • Monitor environment disk utilization and perform cleanup or expansion when necessary
    • Monitor server backups and solve any problems to make sure they take place as schedule
    • Keep servers and applications updated, patched and secure
    • Review vulnerability reports and work with security team on timely resolution
    • Troubleshoot any problems affecting servers, desktops or network
    • Assist with the deployment of physical and virtual servers, virtual desktops and applications
    • Assist in managing Active Directory, VMware, virtual and physical servers, network devices and security software

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Information System Degree preferred

    • Previous Work or Classroom Experience in Networking, and General IT

    • Must work well in a team environment

    • Must have excellent analytical skills

    • Must be proactive solving incidents and potential problems

    • Systems administration experience Highly preferred

    • Powershell experience highly preferred

    • VMware and Network experience preferred

    • Ability to adapt and learn new technology a must

    • Self-motivated and organized with strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Should possess strong time management skills

    • Ability to perform multiple tasks and maintain strong attention to detail in high pressure situations

    • Must possess interpersonal skills for interaction with various individuals
