POSITION: Lien Verification Analyst

LOCATION: Dallas, TX

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO:  Manager

BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, & Disability Benefits Paid 100% for Full Time Employees

HOURS: Full-time, Availability between 8AM – 6PM

TRAVEL: None

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Review credit reports, online county/court records, and call attorney offices and mortgage companies to obtain foreclosure information
• Research market conditions and review comparable properties to determine property values for RTR assets
• Complete an analysis of the equity of properties based on values, outstanding liens, etc.
• Responsible for entering the research and analysis results into the computer systems
• Make phone calls to law firms and or county to investigate lien status.
• Perform extensive online research to determine lien status.
• Review data on excel spread sheets and transfer to computer systems
• Will perform other duties and projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 1+ Years of Mortgage Experience Preferred
• Should enjoy speaking to people and performing computer research
• Self-motivated with a good attitude and the ability to work independently when required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Technical and analytical skills required for making decisions and piecing together information
• Ability to work as a team member, effectively sharing ideas, skills & knowledge
• Willingness to gain knowledge on all aspects of the mortgage servicing industry
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while prioritizing tasks effectively
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check & drug screen to client-required standards
