    POSITION: Quality Assurance Analyst

    DEPARTMENT: Recovery Support

    LOCATION: Dallas TX

    CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

    REPORTS TO:  Manager

     

    COMPENSATION:  Competitive Hourly Rate

    SUMMARY:

    Responsible for completing quality reviews of the various task that are completed in the with Operations Support Department, including but not limited to the audit of lien release documents for accuracy and to ensure the document is processed with the internal and state compliance requirements, review that inbound correspondence is processed accurately and within the internal guidelines, etc. Provide audit results to processors and management to ensure a high quality of department functionality.

     

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

     

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

    • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • 1+ Years of Mortgage Experience
    • Experience reviewing mortgage-related documents such as lien releases, assignments, deeds, and notes
    • Ability to perform computer research
    • Self-motivated with a good attitude
    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
    • Displays strong organizational abilities and time management skills
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to make decisions independently within set policies/procedures
    • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving skills and sound judgment
    • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check & drug screen to client-required standards

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including electronic keyboard, mouse and telephone.

    While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk on the phone.  He/she may be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time as well as perform repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.
