    POSITION:Inbound Mail Processor

    LOCATION:Dallas, TX

    CLASSIFICATION:Non-Exempt

    REPORTS TO:Manager

    COMPENSATION: Competitive Pay

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Picking up mail each morning at the local post office
    • Sort in-bound mail and checks for internal distribution; Prepare mail for pre-sort mail pickup
    • Prepare out-bound letters for mailing – run letters through the folder and inserter machine and postage meter in accordance with company policy
    • Responsible for preparing and mailing UPS & FedEx packages
    • Assist with identifying in-bound mail and internal distribution
    • Stock and maintain mailing inventory
    • Keep mail room clean and free of clutter
    • Responsible for company deliveries and errands, pickup office supplies, etc.
    • Assist with light maintenance/facility work, when needed (move file cabinets, hang white boards, etc.)
    • Keep supervisor informed of changes in volume or problems or issues that arise

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
    • Mail room experience preferred
    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and credit check to client-required standards
    • General computer knowledge; working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand or bend for an extended period of time
    • Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and good driving record
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to work within deadlines
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Ability and willingness to gain knowledge of file retention and the mortgage banking/servicing industry
    • Ability to meet regular attendance requirements and schedules established for the department
    • Ability to work as a team member; effectively sharing ideas, skills and knowledge
