POSITION:Temporary Payment Processor

LOCATION:Dallas, TX

CLASSIFICATION:Non-exempt

REPORTS TO:Manager

HOURS: Monday- Friday 11am-5pm.

SUMMARY

The Temporary Payment Processor shall be responsible for the following essential functions:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Applying daily customer checks, Western Union, ACH, phone pays & bankruptcy checks into a mortgage loan servicing system
• Bank deposits will be prepared by scanning checks into online banking system
• Reconciliation will include balancing mail total logs to check total batches to bank deposit totals; batches are reconciled to account for proper application and deposit
• Providing customer service to internal employees, external borrowers and title companies
• Other tasks as required on various projects, filing, scanning, boxing daily work for storage

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Accounts receivable or detailed data entry skills required; Mortgage knowledge preferred
• Microsoft Word and Excel Experience Required; Basic Knowledge of Accounting Principles Required
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and credit check to client-required standards
• Must be able to work independently; self-motivated
• Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• Team player committed to working in a quality environment
• Ability to achieve objectives with minimal supervision
• Detail-oriented with initiative
