    Job Description

    We are looking for a SQL Database Developer/Administrator with experience in developing/administering custom data solutions and enterprise applications in Microsoft SQL Server.

    Must be able to convert project specifications and problem statements into documented detailed logical flows and coding of the same.

    Must have 3 years of practical experience with programming/administering SQL/TSQL, Stored Procedures, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, profiling, performance and query tuning, indexes, and backups including identifying and resolving root cause issues while managing SQL Server performance.

    Must have experience with OTP and ETL from internal and external sources (PostgreSQL/WolfNet experience a plus) and to manage/automate the transfer of data among servers.

    Must also be experienced in developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining database modifications and development within a change control system utilizing different environments like DEV, STG, PROD.

    Must be flexible, proactive, resourceful, efficient, organized, have an attention to detail, and be able to interact with staff at all levels while maintaining professionalism in variable-pressure situations.

    Knowledge of Real Estate and Financial domains are pluses.

Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences. Strong communication skills and leadership "presence" to drive integration across all levels of the organization. • Proven ability to understand complex business and technical concepts and to be able to make good judgment when faced with trade-offs. • Demonstrated success of establishing, managing and maintaining effective working relationships at the senior management level, internal and external to the organization.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    The SQL Database Developer / Administrator must be able to bend, stoop, stand, and sit for various lengths of time. They must be able to lift and carry items up to 20 lbs. A clear speaking voice is necessary along with the ability to communicate clearly.

    This is primarily a sedentary office classification and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances.

     

    COGNITIVE DEMANDS:

    The SSQL Database Developer / Administrator must be able to multi-task various projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while maintaining a customer-centric, friendly, and professional demeanor.
