Overview:
- Perform and/or lead small teams of volunteers to perform health and safety upgrades including installing grab bars, floor transitions, smoke and CO2 detectors, ceiling fans and window AC/heater units.
- Works closely with the Sr. Program Manager and Safe and Sound Team to develop and track the schedule of project homes, order tools and materials and troubleshoot problems.
- Ensure that the organization is represented in a positive and professional manner by completing each assigned project on time and on schedule, interacting positively with volunteers and homeowners and maintaining high safety levels on site.
- Maintain Salesforce (records management system) to provide proper evaluation, control and documentation for reporting assigned programs.
- Partner with ToolBank to assist volunteer team with tools and materials not provided by RTH.
- Assist Sr. Program Manager with management and maintenance of materials inventory in the warehouse and RTH vehicle fleet.
- Work in the warehouse, driving forklift to organize and load, or unload materials for projects and volunteers.
- Interact closely with homeowners and caregivers to assess and improve home safety according to RTH Safety Checklists
Qualifications:
- Associates degree from a college of university and 1-2 years related experience and/or trainging or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Construction experience preferred
- Forklift Certified preferred
- Bilingual required
- Ability to do physical labor, occasionally strenuous
- Strong organization skills and high regard for safety
- Computer skills in a Microsoft Windows and Google Works system
- Experience with Salesforce or other client relations system
