Looking to stay connected to volleyball while earning extra income? i9 Sports is hiring Weekend Volleyball Referees to help create a positive and engaging experience for young athletes. More than just making calls, you'll help lead game day energy, encourage teamwork, and be a role model for kids just beginning their volleyball journey.

This is the perfect role for volleyball players, coaches, or fans looking for a rewarding weekend job.

Schedule & Season Commitment:

This is a part-time role on Saturdays only

Each season lasts approximately 6–7 consecutive weeks

Full Saturday availability is required for the entire season

Partial availability cannot be accepted

Key Responsibilities:

Officiate youth volleyball games using i9 Sports rules and structure

Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and player confidence

Lead pre-game and between-set communication with coaches and participants

Assist with court setup and equipment before and after games

Keep basic time and scoring as appropriate for the age group

Provide support and guidance to volunteer coaches

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in volleyball (as a player, coach, or official)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Reliable, punctual, and professional in demeanor

Comfortable working independently and engaging with youth athletes and parents

Own a smartphone with internet access

Must pass a National Criminal Background Check

Reliable transportation to locations within Utah County
