ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Recchiuti Confections is a high-end San Francisco-based artisan confectioner. Our handmade truffles and specialty confections have graced the pages of Gourmet, Bon Appétit, Saveur, Sunset and many other high-quality food publications. We are a dynamic, entrepreneurial company looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join our team!

Based in our corporate office, the Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting Recchiuti Confections' sales channels (Wholesale, Corporate, phone, and ecommerce) via customer service, direct sales, order processing, and administrative assignments. 

This position is full-time, Monday-Friday. Seasonally, the position can expect the possibility of weekend work to assist with orders.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, THE SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST MUST POSSESS:

• 3+ years' experience in a customer service or sales support role
• Computer literate; experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; Fishbowl, or other inventory management software; and CRM system
• Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience utilizing shipping and mailing services, including FedEx
• High-touch customer service skills and a service orientation
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Flexible, with a positive attitude for our dynamic and changing environment
• Ability to self-motivate, work quickly and efficiently, and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Team player who is able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
• Punctual; must adhere to published schedule (standard hours will be 8:30am – 5:00pm)
• Ability to work full-time and weekends during the busy holiday season (November and December)
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required
