    SUMMARY

    The Part-Time Sales Support Specialist (P-T SSS) is responsible for supporting Recchiuti Confection's sales channels (Wholesale, Corporate, Direct, and eCommerce) via customer service, direct sales, order processing, and administrative assignments. P-T SSS's primary focus will not be limited to the following:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support the Sales Team with special projects for Wholesale, Corporate, and Ecommerce sales channels
    • Contribute to help meet sales goals for Wholesale and Corporate channels
    • Maintain the client database in Pipedrive CRM software, and other data entry projects
    • Answer and follow-up on all customer service calls and emails
    • Assist Sales Support Specialists in sales outreach campaigns
    • Troubleshoot, document, and resolve customer service and sales issues
    • Process orders for all phone orders, wholesale, and corporate sales channels
    • Resolve shipping issues to ensure safe, on-time delivery
    • Coordinate special arrangements, updates, or last-minute changes to orders
    • Assist eCommerce & Marketing Manager with creative writing needs for social media platforms.
    • Assist with printing marketing collateral and other reproduction needs
    • Greet visitors to our office and assist customers with will-call orders

    MARKETING, SALES, AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    • Support with in-house events; workshop, demonstration & class booking as needed
    • Support with offsite promotional and sales events; pop up shop, industry tasting/sampling events as needed
    • Contribute to retail staff coverage as needed

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • 3+ years' experience in a customer service or order entry role
    • 2+ years' experience in retail or restaurant service
    • Strong MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
    • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience shipping via FedEx
    • Punctual; must adhere to published schedule (standard hours will be 8:30am – 5:00pm, some weekend work may be required, schedule may change)
    • Flexible, with a positive attitude for our dynamic and changing environment
    • MUST have interest in the fine food industry
    • MUST be able to work full-time and weekends during the busy holiday season (November and  December)

    Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Interest in event ambassadorship and direct/retail sales

    • High-touch customer service skills, and positive outlook

    • CRM software experience

    • Experience with an Inventory Management software

    • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

    • Ability to self-motivate, work quickly and efficiently, and meet deadlines

    • Attention to detail

    • Team player

    • Ability to speak Spanish a plus

    • Interest in Social Media and e-mail marketing

    • Creative writing skills a plus
