    Receivable Solutions Inc. is looking for enthusiastic, sharp and committed individuals to join our team as a Medical Coder Professional.

    Job Summary:Certified Professional Coder (CPC) utilizes knowledge of insurance regulations, health insurance contracts, and medical coding to perform a variety of revenue cycle support activities. These include but are not limited to medical coding, insurance verification, ensuring accuracy of information obtained for claims filing, submitting claims, and follow-up as necessary.Essential Job Functions:Review of medical record documentation provided by healthcare providerAssign applicable CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and modifiers based on medial record documentationAssign other billing elements as appropriate (referring provider, NDC, authorization numbers, etc.)Prepare and submit clean claims to various insurance carriersPerform and resolve claim edits prior to claims transmittal to the carrierServes as subject matter expert for healthcare insurance reimbursement related functionsEnsures compliance with medical coding policies and guidelines; understands the application of each code setMaintains current knowledge regarding coding and diagnostic proceduresRequired Skills/Abilities:

    Ability to handle and maintain confidential information Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Strong work ethic

    Demonstrated ability to independently work under aggressive timelines

    Education and Experience: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate Professional (physician) coding certification from AAPC (CPC) or AHIMA (CCS-P) Minimum on (1) year work experience as a Medical Coder Knowledge of medical billing practices Knowledge of health insurance Knowledge of medical terminology, basic anatomy and physiology Key Competencies:

    Ability to handle and maintain confidential information

    Strong work ethic

    Job Requirements:

    High School Diploma required, AA+ preferred

    Minimum of 3-5 years of insurance billing and follow-up experience
