    SCHEDULE: Full-Time (weekends and holidays as required)

    COMPENSATION: Hourly

    Burning Tree Country Club is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Receiving Associate to support the Food & Beverage and Clubhouse operations.

    This role is responsible for receiving, verifying, and distributing all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper storage of all deliveries. Working closely with Culinary and Clubhouse leadership, the Receiving Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining inventory control, organization, and operational efficiency across the Club.

    As a Receiving Attendant, you play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations behind the scenes.

    The Essentials (Core Responsibilities)

    • Receive all incoming merchandise and verify accuracy against purchase orders and delivery documentation

    • Check, sign, and process delivery slips; assist with unloading deliveries as needed

    • Verify quality and quantity of all items and accept or reject deliveries according to established procedures

    • Label, date, and rotate stock to ensure proper inventory management and food safety

    • Organize and distribute merchandise to appropriate departments

    • Maintain accurate records, complete required forms, and manage documentation

    • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies regarding discrepancies, returns, or delivery issues

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure storage area at all times

    • Assist with inventory counts and stock organization

    • Prepare and stock items (chips, beverages, etc.) for Club events

    • Support customer or internal department pick-ups as needed

    The Standards (Qualifications & Professional Conduct)

    Education & Experience

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required

    • 3+ years of experience in a related role preferred

    • Knowledge of food handling and storage practices required

    Skills & Competencies

    • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

    • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills

    • Ability to manage standard operational challenges effectively

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the workday

    • Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and repetitive motion

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally

    • Ability to work in storage areas, kitchens, and varying temperature environments

    • Visual acuity required for detailed inspection and documentation
