Position: Receiving/Equipment Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Receiving/Equipment Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, inspecting and verifying the accuracy of the received items, and organizing and storing the items in the appropriate location. Additionally, you will also be responsible for operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move shipments and store them in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, inspecting and verifying the accuracy of the received items
- Organize and store items in the appropriate location
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move shipments
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as counting and recording stock levels
- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items
