    The Learning Experience of Astoria is looking for a warm, organized, and professional Receptionist / Center Support team member to join our growing childcare center! This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a team dedicated to early childhood education.

    As the first face families see when entering our center, the ideal candidate will create a welcoming environment while supporting daily administrative and classroom needs.

    Responsibilities:

    Greet families, children, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

    Answer phones, emails, and parent inquiries promptly and professionally

    Assist with scheduling tours and providing information to prospective families

    Support enrollment paperwork and general administrative tasks

    Maintain organized files and office systems

    Assist management with day-to-day center operations

    Help monitor sign-in/sign-out procedures and support center security protocols

    Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective families

    Support classrooms as needed throughout the day

    Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment

    Qualifications:

    Previous receptionist and/or customer service experience required

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

    Comfortable using computers, email, and basic office programs

    Professional appearance and positive attitude

    Experience working with children or in a childcare/school setting preferred

    Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
