    Position Overview

    We are seeking a professional and reliable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. This role is critical in creating a welcoming environment while supporting administrative and operational functions in a healthcare setting.

    Responsibilities

    Front Desk & Customer Service

    Greet visitors, staff, and families in a professional and friendly manner

    Answer and route incoming calls efficiently

    Maintain visitor logs and ensure proper sign-in procedures

    Administrative Support

    Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry

    Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings

    Support administrative and HR functions as needed

    Communication

    Relay messages accurately and in a timely manner

    Coordinate communication between departments

    Compliance & Confidentiality

    Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

    Handle sensitive information responsibly

    Safety & Environment

    Monitor front desk activity and ensure a safe environment

    Report concerns or incidents to leadership promptly

    Qualifications

    Required:

    High school diploma or GED

    1+ year of receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience

    Strong communication and organizational skills

    Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email)

    Preferred:

    Experience in healthcare or IDD services

    Familiarity with DBHDD standards

    Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
