Receptionist / Customer Service Representative
Location: On-site at two office locations in Rockford, IL (flexibility required)
We are seeking a dependable and professional individual to serve as the first point of contact for a growing rental business. This hybrid Receptionist / Customer Service Representative role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a long-term commitment to growth. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of rental operations and must be comfortable working across two office locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and candidates in a warm and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming calls courteously and efficiently
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and mail
- Make reservations and look up information in the computer system
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for car rental operations
- Contact partner organizations as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for internal staff
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Assist with onboarding paperwork and candidate check-ins (if applicable)
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth office operations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role
- Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using office technology (phones, email, scheduling tools, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Mature, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
Preferred:
- Spanish language skills preferred (especially helpful for client communication)
