    Receptionist / Customer Service Representative
    Location: On-site at two office locations in Rockford, IL (flexibility required) 

    We are seeking a dependable and professional individual to serve as the first point of contact for a growing rental business. This hybrid Receptionist / Customer Service Representative role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a long-term commitment to growth. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of rental operations and must be comfortable working across two office locations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and candidates in a warm and professional manner
    • Answer and direct incoming calls courteously and efficiently
    • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and mail
    • Make reservations and look up information in the computer system
    • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for car rental operations
    • Contact partner organizations as needed
    • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
    • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for internal staff
    • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
    • Assist with onboarding paperwork and candidate check-ins (if applicable)
    • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth office operations

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role
    • Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Comfortable using office technology (phones, email, scheduling tools, etc.)
    • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
    • Mature, reliable, and team-oriented attitude

    Preferred:

    • Spanish language skills preferred (especially helpful for client communication)
