West Michigan's largest private music lesson school is hiring a full-time Front Desk Student Services Coordinator to join our office team.
This is a 38-40 hour per week position based primarily at our Jenison location, with occasional work at our Grand Rapids location.
Compensation & Benefits
$18.00 per hour during the training period
Increase to $19.00 per hour upon successful completion of training (typically 8-12 weeks)
Additional raises based on performance evaluations
80 hours of paid time off annually

The front desk team plays a critical role in that mission. From the first phone call to weekly lessons, recitals, and performances, our office team helps create a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for students, parents, teachers, and staff.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, loves working around children and families, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
Knowledge of music or playing an instrument is not required.
Schedule
The current schedule is:
Saturday: 9:00 - 4:00 PM
Monday-Thursday: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Evening and weekend availability is required.

Job Duties
Responsibilities include:
Answering phones with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm
Welcoming students and families and creating a positive first impression
Providing exceptional customer service to students, parents, teachers, and visitors
Registering new students
Scheduling needs for more than 800 students and 40+ teachers
Communicating clearly with teachers, staff, students, and families
Processing paperwork and maintaining accurate records
Helping prospective families understand why our school provides the best music lesson experience in West Michigan
Meeting monthly registration goals
Managing details in a busy environment
Using Google products and office software
Cleaning and helping maintain the overall appearance of the Academy
Working independently and solving problems when needed
Supporting recitals, performances, and special events
Please note: This position includes enrollment conversations with prospective families. If you do not enjoy helping people make decisions and enroll in programs that fit their needs, this may not be the right position for you.
