    The Law Offices of S. Chris Davis is seeking a professional, organized, and dependable Receptionist & Intake Support Assistant to join our team in Columbia, SC. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for clients while helping support our intake process and daily office operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Answer and route incoming phone calls, greet clients, and provide general front-desk support. • Assist with client intake, case sign-ups, and scheduling appointments or follow-ups. • Manage incoming mail and maintain organized digital and physical filing systems. • Upload and maintain case documents in the Virtual Office system. • Prepare and send certified mail and assist with basic administrative records, such as bank deposits. • Support client relations by preparing check disbursement packets, cover letters, and client appreciation or referral gifts. • Assist with general office operations, including ordering office merchandise, running occasional errands, and filing documents at local courthouses when required. • Provide additional administrative support as needed, including opening claims, requesting accident reports, and assisting with FOIA or DMV requests. Qualifications: • Professional and friendly with clients • Organized and detail-oriented • Comfortable answering phones and assisting with intake • Able to multitask in a busy office environment • Dependable and proactive • Previous receptionist, administrative, or intake experience is preferred. Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
