    The Law Office of Lena A. Clark, LLC is a growing Trusts and Estates law firm seeking a warm, organized, and professional Receptionist to create an exceptional first impression for every client and visitor. This is a full-time, in-office position in Downtown Frederick. As a key member of our Intake Team, you will welcome prospective clients who are seeking guidance with estate planning or probate matters. Many people contact us during significant life transitions, so your ability to listen with empathy, communicate clearly, and help them confidently take the next step is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building rapport, providing outstanding customer service, and helping people solve important problems. Legal experience is helpful but not required. Professionals with backgrounds in financial services, real estate, insurance, healthcare, hospitality, or client advisory roles often thrive in this position. This is a newly created role in our rapidly growing firm. Your primary responsibility is to serve as the firm's receptionist, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk, greeting clients, answering and directing phone calls, and performing general administrative duties. You will primarily support the Reception function but will also provide backup support to the Intake Team during periods of high call volume, employee absences, or vacations. Additionally, you will assist other departments with administrative tasks as business needs require. Flexibility and a willingness to support the team are essential to this role. Answer and manage a high volume of incoming phone calls from potential clients, clients, and vendors. Listen to prospective clients' concerns and explain how our firm may be able to help. Guide prospective clients through the intake process and schedule consultations with our attorneys. Answer common questions about our services and client experience. Track inquiries and conduct timely follow-up with prospective clients. Maintain accurate and organized records in the firm's client management system. Support the Intake Team with administrative and client service responsibilities as needed. Qualifications: 3+ years of receptionist, customer service, client relations, or comparable professional experience. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Confidence leading conversations and helping people make informed decisions. Professional appearance, positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and consistent follow-through. A strong work ethic and commitment to providing an exceptional client experience. Comfortable discussing professional services and consultation fees. Experience in legal intake, sales, healthcare coordination, financial services, insurance, or real estate is a plus.
