    The Law Office of Shane R. Kadlec is seeking a Receptionist. This position is ideal for anyone interested in developing a career within the legal industry. We are a busy, fast-growing law firm located in West Houston dedicated to helping injured victims and their families. Our hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 2:30 pm on Fridays. In addition to $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience, we also offer a complete benefits package of health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Responsibilities: • Greeting clients and visitors to our office both by telephone and in person in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. • Answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls to Attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff. • Responsible for inputting information into our case management software and ensuring that everything is accurate. • Organizing information received through email and regular mail and loading that information onto our systems quickly and accurately. • Maintaining calendar and confirming appointments. • Maintaining reception area, kitchen, and conference room and preparing it for visitors. • Performing various administrative and clerical support. Qualifications: Qualified candidates must possess the following skills: • High school graduate, G.E.D. recipient, or equivalent. • Customer service attitude. • Be detail-oriented. • Strong data entry skills, proficient with Microsoft Office. • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Be dependable and consistent, especially with attendance and punctuality. • Ability to multi-task. • Be comfortable on the phone with high-volume calls. • Ability to thrive in a team environment and establish good working relationships. • Proven work experience in customer service or busy professional settings. • Professional attitude and appearance as you will serve as the "face of the firm". The top candidate must be personable, responsible, and possess a good phone voice. Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
