Job Summary
We are looking for a Reception Team Lead — someone with the right energy and personality, who is eager to grow, learn, and support a vibrant team culture. This role is for a driven, detail-oriented, and collaborative team member ready to play an essential part in our spa's client experience, daily operations, and continued growth. This is more than a front desk position. We need someone who can confidently lead our reception team, manage inventory support, take initiative with marketing, and be excited about the opportunity to grow into a larger leadership role over time. You’ll be the first face our clients see, a reliable presence behind the scenes, and a key support for our ever-growing team.
Responsibilities
Lead all reception operations, including greeting clients, checking them in/out, managing the schedule, answering the phone, and ensuring smooth daily flow.
Maintain a clean and inviting environment
Step in and provide front desk coverage when needed—flexibility and reliability are key.
Manage inventory: help track, organize, restock, and maintain both backbar and retail products.
Collaborate on marketing campaigns—help generate ideas, research spa trends, and work with leadership to bring fresh, creative concepts to life.
Guide clients through service and product options—help them choose the right facial or skincare product based on their needs.
Learn and stay up to date on all The Sugaring Hut services and product lines (like ZO Skin Health, Colorescience, Epicutis, etc.).
Communicate clearly and kindly with clients and teammates, helping maintain our uplifting, team-first environment.
Support the spa’s ongoing growth by anticipating needs, solving problems, and offering new ideas.
Qualifications
Two or more years of experience as a receptionist or similar role is preferred
Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Familiar with computers and scheduling software
Excellent multi-tasking skills
