The Receptionist / Legal Assistant serves as an important part of the client experience and daily operations of the firm. This role combines front desk responsibilities with administrative and legal support duties. Responsibilities: • Answer phones and emails in a professional, warm, and friendly manner, and ensure the messages are given to the appropriate department for any action items • Communicate with clients, including greeting clients for their appointments, seeing that they are comfortable, and providing their requested beverage orders before their appointment • Create and fill out client forms • Work with the team to meet deadlines • Work with attorneys and paralegals to generate various legal documents • Help with administrative tasks and office correspondence • Help with drafting correspondence and basic legal documents • Managing incoming and outgoing mail • Scanning, filing, and maintaining records • Undertake other duties as assigned to ensure the firm and team operate efficiently • Assisting in maintaining an organized and welcoming office environment Qualifications: • Must know proper phone etiquette • Office experience preferred but not required • Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office products • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills • Must be able to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Compensation: $15 - $18 hourly to start
