    We are a fast-paced criminal defense and sexual harassment law firm that is on track for aggressive growth, and we need an experienced receptionist to join our team. The Law Offices of Anna R. Yum prides itself in helping clients come out of an extremely difficult and emotional process by knowing that they had a team behind them that truly cared and fought for them throughout the legal process. In criminal cases, we fight tirelessly to protect clients’ rights, future, and freedom when accused of a crime. The firm is growing fast, and we need an excellent receptionist/office assistant who can multitask and hit the ground running. Responsibilities: • Answering and screening high-volume phone calls with strong judgment on when to transfer, triage, take a message, or handle independently • Scheduling meetings with potential new clients and existing clients • Greeting clients and visitors with professionalism and empathy • Filing, uploading, and organizing client documents in the firm’s case management system • Assisting with basic administrative tasks such as scheduling, scanning, and filing correspondence • Supporting legal staff and the intake team as needed • Managing attorneys’ mail • Ordering office supplies and food/drinks for the break room • Stocking the breakroom with copy paper, toner, office supplies, etc. • Maintaining tidiness in the break room, conference room, and other common areas in the Firm, which includes watering plants, refilling hand sanitizers, loading/unloading the dishwasher, etc. Qualifications: Requirements: • Exhibit a strong work ethic with high standards for reliability and quality of work • Must be able to prioritize and multitask with meticulous attention to detail • Must be punctual, reliable, and have good attendance • Must have excellent communication skills in both oral and written form, and interpersonal skills • Display a positive and team-focused attitude Experience: • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a receptionist and/or office assistant in a law firm, medical office, and/or other type of professional environment • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a client-facing customer service role • Bilingual (Spanish and English) is highly preferred Compensation: $23 - $27 hourly
