The Resident Services Associate - Receptionist plays a vital role in enhancing the living experience for senior residents by providing exceptional concierge and reception services. Serving as the first point of contact, this position is responsible for offering personalized assistance, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the front desk.
Greeting & Welcoming: Warmly greet residents, guests, and visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
Assistance & Concierge Services: Assist residents with a variety of requests, such as transportation arrangements , dining reservations , event bookings , and other personal services.
Service Coordination: Coordinate with local service providers (e.g., dry cleaning, housekeeping, maintenance) to arrange services for residents.
Local Information: Provide recommendations and information about local attractions , services , and amenities.
Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk duties, maintaining a neat , organized , and welcoming area at all times.
Communication: Answer and direct incoming calls promptly, take accurate messages, and provide information about the community's services, events, and policies.
Resident & Visitor Logs: Maintain and update logs of residents and visitors, ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date.
Activity & Event Coordination: Assist with the coordination and communication of resident activities and events.
Administrative Support: Provide minor administrative support, such as scheduling appointments and making copies.
Mail & Packages: Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely delivery to residents.
Supply Management: Keep track of office and concierge supply inventory, placing orders as needed.
Resident Communications: Assist in preparing and distributing newsletters and notices to residents.
Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
Background Check: Must pass State and Company criminal background and drug screening.
Time Management: Demonstrates effective time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Previous experience in a concierge , receptionist , or customer service role, preferably in a senior living or hospitality setting.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
