    New Horizon Therapy is looking for someone who has some experience with scheduling and front desk work. New Horizon Therapy does both Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy with pediatrics.

    Monday - Thursday schedule (32 hours/week)

    ** experience with scheduling and billing is a plus.

    We are looking for a pleasant and friendly Front Desk Representative to join our team! As a Front Desk Representative, you will be responsible for different receptionist and clerical duties at our office. You will be the first contact with the clients, and are responsible for making a good impression and improving the company reputation.

    As the front-line-employee, your role will be extremely important for improving client experience and satisfaction. Your goal should always be to make our guests feel comfortable and satisfied while in our office. Some duties include answering client questions, offering client support, guiding and advising clients, keeping the front office clean and representative, following the agendas and scripts and helping with billing as needed.

    Front Desk/Receptionist/Scheduling Duties and Responsibilities

    Answering phones (checking messages and returning missed calls)

    Scheduling patients for speech and/or occupational therapy appointments

    Starting the Intake process and following up on Intakes that have not been completed

    Managing referrals and getting them scheduled

    Creating patient files

    Taking payments and posting to the appropriate chart

    Insurance verification contacting families to overview coverage of services

    Calling non-confirmed therapy and evaluation appointments

    Following up on no-show and/or cancelled appointments

    Uploading new client paperwork and insurance information to client charts

    Faxing medical providers and other agencies when appropriate

    Communicating with both therapists and families when therapist is out of the office

    Updating list for due Care Plans and sending email reminders to therapists

    Maintaining the reception area organized and clean

    Maintaining the practice stocked (office supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, water cups, sanitizing supplies, etc)

    Retrieving mail and sorting

    Help with billing

    Other general office duties as needed
