    Position Overview

    The Receptionist at TAC Auction serves as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and visitors, both in person and virtually. This role supports daily office operations, manages incoming communications, and assists our auction, sales, and administrative teams. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Greet and assist customers, visitors, and vendors in a friendly, professional manner.

    Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and online inquiries to the appropriate departments.

    Provide information about auction registration, bidding, payment, and pickup procedures.

    Maintain and update customer information in TAC Auction’s CRM and auction systems.

    Assist with buyer and seller paperwork, title transfers, and general administrative tasks.

    Support the operations team with scheduling, filing, and data entry.

    Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and front office supplies.

    Keep the reception and front office area neat, organized, and welcoming.

    Assist with auction-day coordination and other company events as needed.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.

    Previous experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service professional.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM or auction software is a plus.

    Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.

    Knowledge of the trucking, equipment, or auction industry is preferred but not required.
