Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will assist our case managers with various tasks, gaining valuable experience in the Personal Injury, Traffic, and Criminal matters we handle at the firm. You will communicate with clients, compile case materials, and conduct research. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
Answer all incoming calls and redirect them to the appropriate case manager
Answer any preliminary questions an existing or potential client may have
Scan and upload all incoming mail
Draft and send certified mail
Conduct initial intakes for new leads and schedule consultations
Send retainer packets and convert clients into our case management software, MyCase
Request photos and preliminary documents from clients
Obtain police and traffic collision reports.
Ensure that case-related documents are well organized
Provide general administrative support
Qualifications
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Prior receptionist or administrative experience preferred
Law firm experience strongly preferred, but not required (Criminal or PI a plus)
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Adobe
Experience with MyCase or legal case management software preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Bilingual a plus, but not mandatory
