This position is responsible for answering/screening incoming calls and greeting clients in a professional manner. Responsibilities: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Answer incoming phone calls • Follow screening protocols • Forward all intake calls from new or potential clients to the intake personnel • Take messages as necessary and email or create tasks to the proper party • Assists with call-in seminar registrations • Greet/check in and announce all clients/visitors • Work with new client/matter files using core systems and processes, which currently include Decision Vault, Lawmatics, SharePoint, Clio, and paper forms • Close client files using a templated process • Witness document signings and notarize documents ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure the lobby is clean and business cards/marketing materials are stocked • Support intake personnel as necessary • Clean and stock the conference room • Assist with a variety of administrative tasks, including copying, faxing, and scanning • Take payments from clients • Receive client documents delivered to the firm • Other duties in and outside the Intake department as apparent or assigned to ensure the office runs smoothly Qualifications: • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent Professionalism • Interpersonal skills • Organization, planning, time management, and computer literacy • Candidate must be able to work as a team member • Candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check Compensation: $17 - $24 hourly
