    We are seeking an experienced Reconstruction Department Manager to lead our reconstruction division, manage project staff, oversee all construction projects, and handle department estimates directly.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee all activities and personnel within the Reconstruction Department (Project Managers, Coordinators, Subcontractors)

    Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to project management staff

    Perform all initial site inspections and produce detailed, accurate estimates using Xactimate or comparable software

    Work closely with insurance adjusters, property owners, and internal teams to scope, sell, and manage reconstruction jobs

    Plan, schedule, and resource projects to ensure timely, on-budget completion

    Implement and improve departmental processes and KPIs for quality, timeliness, and profitability

    Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers

    Review and approve project budgets, contracts, change orders, and billing

    Monitor project progress through site visits and status meetings

    Ensure compliance with SERVPRO® standards, insurance requirements, safety guidelines, and regulatory codes

    Collaborate with ownership and senior management to support growth and operational goals

    Qualifications:

    5+ years of experience in residential/commercial reconstruction management

    3+ years of experience leading construction project teams

    Advanced proficiency in Xactimate estimating software (Level 2 or higher preferred)

    Strong background in insurance restoration/reconstruction work

    Knowledge of residential and commercial building codes, regulations, and best practices

    Proven ability to manage budgets, scheduling, subcontractor negotiations, and project profitability

    High-level organizational, leadership, and communication skills

    IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD) or equivalent industry credentials are a plus

    Valid driver's license with a clean record

    Ability to pass background check and drug screen
