About the Role:
Join BrightStar Care of Conejo Valley & Coastal Los Angeles as a Recovery Support caregiver, where you will provide compassionate care to children, adults or older adults in a supportive in home care environment. What We’re Looking For:
Lives in or near the Conejo Valley, Simi Valley or Coastal Los Angeles.
Has at least 1 year of experience providing hands on care to individuals in need (children, adults, or older adults).
Experience with caregiving, personal care, companion care, or roles such as Homecare Aide, DSP, Home Health Aide, or similar.
Dependable, consistent, and someone families and clients can rely on.
Experience with behavioral support or developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required.
Holds current CPR/First Aid certification, or is willing to obtain it.
Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
What You'll Do:
Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Support with light housekeeping tasks
Prepare simple meals and assist with nutrition needs
Provide catheter care assistance as directed in the care plan
Monitor client safety and comfort throughout the shift
Support mobility and positioning as needed
Report changes in condition to the care team or supervising nurse
