About the Role:

Fremont Rush Soccer Foundation is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Recreational Soccer Coach to inspire young players in Fremont, CA! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact in your community by developing skills, teamwork, and a love for the beautiful game in players of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities:

Plan and lead engaging recreational soccer practices and training sessions

Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive techniques

Coach players during games, providing real-time instruction and encouragement

Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress and schedules

Ensure player safety by enforcing rules and monitoring field conditions

Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal development both on and off the field

Requirements:

Prior experience coaching, playing, or instructing soccer at any level

Strong knowledge of recreational soccer rules, drills, and training techniques

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with youth and families

Ability to pass a background check as required for working with minors

CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Reliable, punctual, and committed to scheduled practices and games

USSF coaching license or equivalent certification is a plus
