Recreational Therapist

Pediatric Health Consultants, Inc. supplies contract services for physical, occupational, and recreational therapy to children with disabilities in a variety of school districts in Southeast Michigan.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist in a school setting.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plan and provide sports-related fitness programs to children with disabilities appropriate to their individual needs, consultation, educating and working with other educational staff and parents; attendance at staff and parent meetings and IEPs as applicable.

Must be nationally recognized by National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification and/or licensed to practice Recreational Therapy with a Bachelor's Degree. Pediatric experience required/school experience preferred.
